Cures For Boredom
Thought Process

Intelligence is just a memory

And genius should be a sin.

If holding onto words

Is so impressive,

I'm a great actor.

When ignorance is bliss,

No wonder I'm always pissed.

If were supposed to learn

            Let us drink it,

            Let us eat it,

Let us let it all sink in,

            Let us live it,

            Let us die from it.

We all want the answers

But we don't want to know,

And I'm dying from the words.

If genius is a prize,

The judge needs to cry.

If I know so much,

Why can't I figure how to make my thoughts stop?

Intelligence is a memory

And gingko fills my veins.

If being smart is

Just so wonderful

I want to say goodbye.

Intelligence is a memory

And the old know the most.

If I could die young

I'll never know that living death.

Intelligence is a memory

And no one needs to be me.

I'd sell half my memories

If it meant I'd never have to know.

Memories aren't what they seem

And Einstein's memories probably bleed.

My thoughts are my self-indulgent hell

Where intelligence is a protective shell.

I can hide behind my memories

And say I learned so well.

Intelligence is a memory

And no one needs to know.

(A/N: This is my longest poem...how pathetic.)
